Peach Pie Shine and others

#1 Post by MisLed » April 4th, 2014, 1:12 pm

Guys. Did I tell you that I made two big batches of Peach Pie Shine last week. I see where I can make some improvements and all that but I was wondering if any of you guys have made this stuff. I need some questions answered.

Guys can someone help me on this. Last time I made it, it called for a 15 oz can of peaches....a man made the recipe and a guy would not think to say, drain the peaches. I have a feeling I needed to drain the peaches....now.. It's good...but it's not as watery as I've had before...there's just a tad thicker consistency, barely noticeable but still there. I wonder if I should have drained it and just put the peaches in.

HEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLP)PPPPPP.

That's a good idea but I didn't have any handy...and I found the answer. Don't drain the canned peaches, use the juice too.

I make apple, peach and cherry. The cherry is too strong. I"m going to change the recipe and make it more like the peach. so far the apple is my favorite...smooth...so smooth it sneaks up on you.

Damn. Between the last post and the second-last post, you could have aged barrel whiskey!
